         Born and raised in the
area, she said she has al-
       ways recognized the sig-
       nificance of Manitoba’s
       only national park, which
is a unique draw to the
       area.
         “There are reasons why
       people travel to a national
       park, and you’re not go-
ing to get the same drive
       in another rural setting
that you are going to get
       when you’re at the nation-
al park,” she said. “It’s still
       affordable compared to
some of the price points in
       other national parks.”
         For those who can’t af-
ford to buy, she said camp-
       ing’s an option, and there
       are plenty of cabin owners
in the area who put their
       buildings up for rent on
       Airbnb.
